HiPP BIO 2 is suitable from 6 months onwards, as a complement to solid foods. Before 6 months we recommend HiPP BIO COMBIOTIK PRE or Stage 1 - both also starch-free.

Why does the box say "no starch - like in PRE formulas"?

Many follow-on formulas from 6 months add starch to make feeds more filling. HiPP BIO 2 deliberately avoids this - lactose is the only carbohydrate source, exactly as in breast milk and PRE formulas. A conscious choice for gentler digestion.

What is the difference between HiPP BIO 2 and other Stage 2 formulas?

The key difference is the carbohydrate source. HiPP BIO 2 uses only lactose. Most other Stage 2 products contain starch, which can be harder to digest and alters the natural taste. HiPP BIO 2 also includes L. fermentum cultures and GOS fiber - rarely found in standard formulas.

How long does one box last?

One 600g box yields 45 bottles of 100ml each. At approximately 5 feeds per day, one box lasts around 9 days. Our bundle options help you stock up and save per unit.

How do I prepare HiPP BIO COMBIOTIK 2 correctly?

Boil fresh drinking water and cool to 40-50 degrees C. Add the desired amount of water to the bottle, then add the powder (1 scoop per 30ml of water). Close, shake well and cool to 37 degrees C before feeding. Never use a microwave as this destroys the natural lactic acid cultures.

Is HiPP BIO COMBIOTIK 2 fully organic certified?

Yes, completely. Certified under DE-OKO-001, EU/Non-EU Agriculture. The HiPP Bio seal goes beyond legal minimum requirements - HiPP tests every raw ingredient far more strictly than required by law, from farm to finished product.

Advantages

Iron content jumps significantly at Stage 2 which matters a lot at 6 months, clean ingredient list with no fillers, baby accepted it without any transition fussiness

Disadvantages

Wish it came in an 800g size, importing 600g boxes adds up cost-wise compared to US formulas

Advantages
