Feeding Guide (Per Bottle)
Wash hands and sterilize equipment. Boil fresh water and cool to approximately 104-122°F (40-50°C). Use only the 4.0g scoop provided inside the box. At 12 months, formula is a complement to solid meals, not a meal replacement. Two servings per day alongside a balanced toddler diet is standard. Never microwave prepared formula.

Why is Stage 3 lower in calories than Stage 2?
This is intentional. A 12-month-old eating three solid meals a day gets significant calories from food. Stage 3's 60 kcal per 100ml is designed to complement that diet rather than compete with it. Using a lower-calorie Stage 2 formula at this stage could reduce appetite for nutrient-dense solid foods, which is counterproductive at a time when establishing varied eating habits matters most.
Why does Stage 3 have a 20/80 whey-to-casein ratio instead of 60/40?
The 60/40 ratio in Stage 1 and 2 mimics breast milk, which is appropriate for infants whose digestive systems are still maturing. By 12 months, digestion is developed enough to handle casein-dominant protein efficiently - the same ratio found in whole cow's milk. Casein digests more slowly, which also helps toddlers feel full longer between meals.
Does my toddler need Stage 3 formula or can they switch to whole milk?
Whole milk is an option from 12 months, and many pediatricians support the switch. The case for Stage 3 is the nutrient profile: it provides DHA, GOS prebiotics, the L. Can I use Stage 3 if my toddler did not use Stage 2?
