Why does HA Stage 2 have no starch when Stage 1 did?
At 6 months, solid foods start providing carbohydrate energy from multiple sources - purees, cereals, and finger foods. The formula's role shifts from primary nutrition to a supplementary feed. Removing starch keeps Stage 2 lighter, complementing rather than competing with solids. This mirrors the approach of other HiPP Stage 2 formulas, which also drop starch at the 6-month mark.
