Boil fresh water and allow to cool to approximately 104-122°F (40-50°C). Use only the scoop provided inside the box. Never microwave prepared formula. Test temperature on your wrist before each feed. Stage 2 is designed to complement solid foods introduced from 6 months onwards.

The goat milk base stays the same, but the nutritional profile is recalibrated for what a 6-month-old body actually needs. Iron is doubled to 1.0mg because birth iron stores run out around this age. DHA increases to 13.6mg to match the accelerating pace of brain development. GOS prebiotics increase to 0.5g to support gut health during the weaning transition. Can I switch directly from HiPP Goat PRE to Stage 2 at 6 months?
Yes, the transition is straightforward because the milk base remains consistent. Both formulas use the same organic A2 goat milk protein, so your baby's digestive system is already familiar with the foundation. Most families find the switch seamless. You can transition fully over a few days by gradually increasing the Stage 2 proportion if you prefer a gentle approach, but many parents switch all at once without any issues.
Why does HiPP Goat Stage 2 not contain probiotics?
The HiPP Goat range does not include live bacterial cultures. The formula relies on the naturally gentle A2 goat milk protein and GOS prebiotic fiber for digestive support, rather than added probiotics.
