Demeter-certified milk naturally contains higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin E compared to standard organic milk.

Does Holle Stage 2 contain probiotics or prebiotics?

No. Holle's philosophy is minimal, clean ingredients. Stage 2 does not include added probiotics or prebiotic fibers. If your baby needs digestive support, HiPP COMBIOTIK formulas with lactic acid cultures may be worth considering alongside your pediatrician's advice.

How long does one 600g box last?

What does the expiration date format on the box mean?

Holle uses the European date format: DD/MM/YYYY. So "01/09/2026" means September 1st, 2026, not January 9th. All boxes shipped from Infantiz carry a minimum of 6 months shelf life from the date of dispatch.

Advantages

Clean ingredient list, no weird additives, dissolves well with no lumps, baby has been sleeping better since we switched

Disadvantages

More expensive than US brands but honestly worth it for the quality

Did a lot of research before choosing Holle. The Demeter certification was the deciding factor for us since it is stricter than standard EU organic. Second order and still happy with it. Would recommend to any parent looking for a premium European option.

Advantages

Baby settled easily after switching from another European brand, no digestive issues, love that DHA comes from algae not fish oil

Disadvantages

Wish the box lasted a bit longer, we go through about 3-4 per month
